Woman Sentenced in Internet Fraud Admits Stealing More Than $44,000 From Wesselman's Supermarkets

A Washington state woman has been sentenced to 13 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to using a computer to fraudulently obtain more than $44,000 from the bank account of Wesselman's Supermarkets of Evansville.

Carima Jansen, 32, of Burien, Wash., was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Richard Young after she pleaded guilty to aiding in the interstate transport of stolen funds. Jansen also is believed to have used the aliases of Adriana Ivan, Adriana Barkey and Adriana Teodorescu.
