A lawsuit filed Tuesday against the estate of former Evansville businessman and Democratic Party activist Larry Aiken claims his insurance carrier is refusing to pay medical claims for a boy injured in a Christmas Eve 2009 wreck caused by Aiken.

Aiken, a well-known promoter, entrepreneur and former Vanderburgh County Democratic Party chairman, died Feb. 13, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital from injuries sustained in the head-on car crash on Diamond Avenue.
