Summary


A year ago, the League of Women Voters of Southwestern Indiana petitioned the Vanderburgh County Commission and Evansville City Council to begin the process that, under state law, will allow the citizens of this community to decide whether they want a unified city-county government.

At this time we would like to reiterate the reasons we initiated the process for our community to once again - for the fourth time in 40 years - consider a unified city-county government.
