Summary
Digital book readers such as the Amazon Kindle and the recently released Barnes & Noble Nook aren't devices that are expected to have a long shelf life. I look at them as a scenic stop between dead tree editions and the long-rumored, but elusive tablet devices that will handle everything too big for your smartphone, but too small for your desktop.
