If Indiana residents have the feeling someone is watching them, that's not their imaginations. Hoosiers, especially in coal-rich Southwestern Indiana, are in the sights of those who drafted and support the cap-and-trade provisions of the national energy bill. That includes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who feels she has the votes to get the massive bill through the House, and likely will call for a vote today.

That vote could end up being very personal to the people of Indiana who rely on coal for 94 percent of their energy needs. This provision ends up costing them vastly more on their utility bills. Heck, even President Obama, as a candidate last year, said cap and trade would cost power companies and their customers much more for energy.
