n Meyers led his Evansville baseball team to an 8 to 0 victory over Owensboro. Meyers pitched all nine innings and didn't give up a single hit twhile striking out eleven batters. Owensboro wasn't able to stop Evansville's hitting. Dugger and Donovan led the hlocal team as they each recorded a two-base hit and Donovan went 2 for 5 with 2 runs and Dugger went 3 for 5 with 3 runs.
