Another step was made Monday afternoon toward quelling chronic flooding problems on Evansville's Southeast Side.
Ground was broken on the Eastview Terrace and Jeanette Cass addition drainage improvements projects, which are two of four projects designed to reduce flooding for roughly 3,000 residents. The four projects were recommended by the city Storm Water Task Force after a series of rainstorms in 2006 wreaked havoc on several homes, according to officials from Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel's office.See the full content of this document
