FAIRFIELD, Ill. - A van driver for a Mount Vernon, Ill., day care center for disabled adults has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a physically and mentally disabled woman from Wayne County, Ill.

Carl Robert Jones, 57, of Dahlgren, Ill., was arrested Thursday evening on a Wayne County warrant charging him with a felony count of aggravated criminal sexual assault and a felony count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Jones is accused of having unlawful sexual contact with a 31-year-old developmentally and physically disabled woman while on the job as a driver for an adult day care center.
