City Council Favors Public-Only Security Checkpoints

Summary


If every government employee doesn't have to go through security checkpoints at the Civic Center, then they should have to undergo random checks.

That's what Councilman Dan Adams, D-at large, proposed Monday at a meeting of the City Council. Adams' plan met with as warm a reception as his old, which would have made more than 1,000 local government employees go through security screenings at the Civic Center.
