FRANKLIN, Ind. - As lines grow and paperwork mounts at Indiana's unemployment bureaus, Gov. Mitch Daniels on Friday assured out-of- work Hoosiers that new training and education will lead to jobs.

In the meantime, the state is doing its best to speed through the backlog of applications for unemployment benefits, he said at a WorkOne unemployment office in central Indiana.
