A Dale, Ind., man said Monday afternoon that he knew he shouldn't have been driving when he caused an accident that killed a 75-year- old woman and paralyzed another, but he never intended for it to happen.

"If I could take my own life and replace it, I would," 33-year- old James Huff said at his sentencing hearing in the Warrick County Circuit Court. "I hope the family can someday forgive me because I never intentionally meant to hurt anybody..."
