INDIANAPOLIS - Hoosier college students are missing out on millions of dollars of financial aid because they don't know they're eligible and aren't applying on time, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education said Friday.

Students who turned in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid late last year lost out on more than $230 million in tuition assistance, commission member Marilyn Moran-Townsend said.
