Last year, I attended virtually every event at which candidates for the Indiana Legislature appeared before the public. Among the various gatherings, one could frequently see those identified as members of the various local tea party organizations and other community activists.
The public listened with interest to all of the various issues that were discussed at the meetings. Never was anybody advocating "right to work" legislation. School reform was discussed only in passing. Little if anything was said about school vouchers. Eliminating collective bargaining for teachers or significantly reducing their pay was never mentioned.See the full content of this document
