Summary
The impact of rental properties on neighborhoods is in the spotlight as changes in the residential real estate market make it more difficult for some buyers to purchase their own homes. Earlier this year, a group of Evansville landlords and property managers formed an association aimed at improving their relations with local officials. Shortly after that, the city of Evansville established a registry to identify who is responsible for maintaining rental properties.
