When I grow up, I hope to be an architect. Picking a job can be hard. I picked being an architect because I want to have a job that I would be able to have a family. I have the desire to do something that has to do with math, and I always wanted to build and design my own house. It will be much easier to do that with being an architect. I know it is going to take dedication and perseverance to get you there, but everyone makes mistakes, right?

New Voices

To be an architect, I will mostly have to take classes of math. Classes such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry and physics. Of course, you don't have to be perfect at math, but it would help! Math is my favorite class in school, and I try my hardest.

Math would be a great class to take for being an architect. To do this job, you have to get the right angles for the square footage you want and have the right equations to find the angles. Also, to have the ability to graph out the building.

You have to be able to plan out these buildings and supervise them, because you would be responsible for the safety and usefulness of them. There are certain colleges for certain things. Becuase I want to stay close to home, the best college for me is Indiana State University.

With all these aspects to be an architect, perseverance and patience, you will be set to be an architect.
