We at the American Lung Association in Indiana are disappointed that the members of the House Public Policy Committee continue to gamble with the lives of our citizens rather than stand up to the powerful casino and tavern lobby.

As I said in my recent testimony before the committee, Illinois a year ago took the important step of giving everyone who lives and works in that state, including gaming workers and patrons, the right to breathe smoke-free air while earning a paycheck.
