Summary


With heavy rains across central and Southern Indiana this month, many communities in the region are enduring record flooding.

But for the most part, those along the Ohio River - the ultimate destination of all the rainwater swelling the White and Wabash rivers - haven't experienced any flooding problems at all. The Wabash, which also carries the water of the White River, empties into the Ohio west of Evansville, near Uniontown, Ky.
