When Teresa Williams, an Evansville parking meter attendant, used a vehicle to patrol her routes, she wrote an average of 35 tickets a day. These days, she sometimes writes as few as five a day.
All four of the city's primary meter attendant vehicles were pulled off the streets in December after an attendant tested positive for exposure to carbon monoxide, City Clerk Alberta Matlock said.
