Rep. Suzanne Crouch, R-Evansville, and Sen. Vaneta Becker, R- Evansville, encouraged Vanderburgh and Warrick counties to pass ordinances allowing taxpayers to pay property tax bills by automatic monthly checking account deductions or through monthly installment payments. The ordinances could allow taxpayers to choose the date and method of payment.
