Summary
I have only one New Year's resolution for 2009, and it is not to lose weight or exercise more. My New Year's resolution is to make an intentional effort to engage in conversation with those who are different from me.
My resolution is inspired by Jesus Christ, who made extraordinary efforts to be in dialogue with those not like him. Jesus saw everyone as a child of God. In 1 Timothy 4:4 it states, "For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving."See the full content of this document
