Remarks by President Barack Obama broadcast to American students Tuesday morning will be shown Wednesday morning in all Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. classrooms. But parents will be able to have their children opt out of seeing the speech if they choose.

Obama's speech actually will be broadcast live at 11 a.m. Tuesday. But because of conflicts with lunch at many schools, EVSC has decided to show a recording of his remarks Wednesday morning, Director of Communications Marsha Jackson said.
