Ue Students' Robot Off to Fight 'Fire'

Summary


Two University of Evansville seniors will take their firefighting robot to Hartford, Conn., this weekend, where it will compete with those made at about 30 other colleges around the world.

UE's Blazing Ace is a creation of Kyle Miller, a Central High School graduate, and Jace Bittner, a graduate of Castle High School. The competition at Trinity College measures a robot's ability to locate a burning candle within a maze and extinguish it with a squirt of water.
